Hazelnut Shell Aspirator

An aspiration system that uses airflow to separate light shells from the product after cracking.

Intended Use

The Hazelnut Shell Aspirator is a specialized machine operating with a closed-circuit aspiration system to separate hazelnut kernels, shells, and shriveled nuts after in-shell hazelnuts have been cracked. The incoming product is separated and discharged in five groups: uncracked nuts or coarse particles, dust, sound kernels, empty or shriveled nuts, and shells.

Technical Specifications

  • Large Aspiration Chamber: The aspiration section is designed with a generous volume to maximize separation efficiency.
  • Adjustable Airflow Rate: The machine generates a powerful airflow, which can be easily adjusted for different applications.
  • Easy Maintenance: Inspection covers on both sides of the aspiration section enable fast, practical maintenance.
  • Pre-Screening System: The product feed unit features a pre-screening system powered by a vibratory motor for more effective product preparation.
  • Four-Stage Separation: The incoming product is separated and discharged into five groups: uncracked nuts or coarse particles, dust, sound kernels, empty or shriveled nuts, and shells.
  • Closed-Circuit Aspiration: The closed-circuit system minimizes dust emissions and helps keep the working environment clean.
  • Enclosed Construction: The fully enclosed housing provides maximum safety and minimizes risks to operators and the surrounding area.
  • Number of Motors: 7.
  • Total Motor Power: 10.77 kW – 13.7 kW.
  • Capacity: 4–10 tonnes/hour.
