Technical Specifications

• The screw conveyor consists of two main assemblies. The U-shaped product trough supports the screw rotation and enables proper product conveying. It also supports the drive system. Material thickness: 2.0 mm.
• The conveying screw consists of flights mounted on a heavy-wall pipe of a diameter suited to the intended application.
• Screw material thickness is 4.0 mm. Because it is manufactured by a forming process, thickness at the outer edge decreases to 2.0 mm.
• Equipped with a robust bearing system.
• The screw conveyor incorporates advanced safety features, including a sensor-equipped overflow cover and a rotation sensor for maximum safety.
• The screw flights are manufactured from cold-drawn material with a diameter appropriate to the required capacity.
• The screw is supported by hanger bearings at the required intervals.
• Standard sheet metal thickness is 2–2.5 mm. Depending on requirements, the machine can be manufactured from black steel, galvanized steel, or 430 or 304 stainless steel.
• A coupling is used to transmit power between the geared motor and the screw.
• The coupling includes a rubber element to provide flexibility to the motor drive.
